Projects_Residential /  Foxrock  Dublin  Ireland

A residential development located in a suburb of Dublin called Foxrock.  An high density executive development comprising of fourteen two bedroom apartments and five, three bedroom penthouse apartments.

In collaboration with our client, we were brought onboard following a planning refusal by the planning inspectorate to re-design the scheme to make this high density project more in-keeping with the surrounding buildings and local vehicular and massing, hopefully acceptable by the local authority.

The scheme benefits from a courtyard and street which allows external access to individual duplex properties, rather than access gained from a stuffy, unventilated and dark corridor.  The scheme has been split into four blocks which are linked with transparent circulation space allowing views through the buildings to prevent them being read as a whole and large mass stuck on the site.
